Hey kids! I've decided to take up cooking/baking. This is my current attempt to fend off the boredom which naturally accompanies living by oneself in a strange yooper town.
POST SOME RECIPES!
P.S. I don't eat fish...or anything else one might find swimming and/or crawling through the water.
P.P.S. I love desserts.

Kenric, you're brilliant. Thank you for that fancy feast suggestion. I honestly don't know what I'd do without you. Next time you'll have to teach me something more challenging like SpaghettiO's.
I come to your blog in hopes of reading something funny and this is what I get? A cheap recipe request?? Since when did you become Betty Crocker?
Hmmm. I can't really take your insult to heart since you don't even have the courage to sign your name.
p.s. If I was Betty Crocker, I wouldn't need recipes.
and it wasn't a cheap recipe request. I really do need recipes. I just wanted to ask an intelligent group of people, and my blog readers came to mind first. Ok, I'm done with you now.
Thank GOD! There's still hope. Oh and sorry about Reinesha.
I have some amazing recipes. I should put those on here.
sooo...where are they?
I'll make Tom send you some recipes... I don't think that you want any from me...because we ALL know how much cooking Aimee does :)

Okay here are a few recipes my darling Bridget Deutsch.
My favorite pasta
Ingredients: Angel hair pasta, olive oil, butter/margarine, lemon juice, lemon zest, salt, white wine, garlic, onion
You'll need to prepare the angel hair pasta according the instructions on the box. Just cook 1/4 of the pasta if it's just for you.
Put 1 Tablespoon of olive oil in a pan, add about 1/2 of an onion that you've finely minced, cook for about 2 minutes then add 4 cloves of garlic that have been minced (cut up small). Cook until these are both completely cooked, then add about 1 teaspoon of lemon zest. You can either buy the stuff in the jar, or you can just use a grater to scrape the zest off of a lemon. Then add about two teaspoons of lemon juice, and pour in about 1/2 a cup of white wine. Let this cook for like 4-5 minutes. Then toss it with the angle hair pasta and salt/pepper it. I'm telling you it's super delicious.
Another recipe:
Chicken Cacciatore
Ingredients: pasta, chicken breasts (boneless skinless), onions, garlic, wine, spaghetti sauce, salt, italian seasoning, flour, olive oil, chicken bouillion cubes
Cook your favorite kind of pasta according to the directions on the box. Put about 1/2 a cup of flour on a paper plate, add salt and pepper just to season it. Dredge the chicken breasts in flour (I'm assuming that you're using like 2 chicken breasts). Add 2 Tablespoons of Olive oil to a pan, add chicken breast and cook on Medium High for about 4 minutes on each side. Remove chicken from pan. Add 1/2 cup of diced onion to pan, cook for about 3 minutes then add 4 cloves of garlic, finely minced. Cook for about another 2 minutes. Take the chicken and cut it into strips and return it to the pan. Add like 1 teaspoon of italian seasoning, 1 chicken bouillion cube, around half a jar of spaghetti sauce and 2/3 cup of wine. Let tihs cook for awhile, like 20-25 minutes. The longer it cooks, the more flavor it has. Add the pasta and yay delicious dinner.
Just so you know, when you remove the chicken from the pan the first time, it won't be cooked all the way through. It finishes cooking in the sauce. And there will be bits of the cooked flour on the bottom of the pan when you start cooking the onions, just like scrape it off and let it co chill with the onions, it adds bits of deliciousness to the meal. :)
